Affiliate Manager

Job Description

Use your exceptional skills in performance marketing, sales, relationship-building and analytics to manage, grow and monitor our Affiliate partners (publishers, and search and email marketers) in order to increase traffic and revenue opportunities for our Advertising clients, while contributing to the overall company goals and objectives. Job Duties
  • Deliver proactive account management by providing business solutions to Affiliate partners, as well as offering ideas/methods of increasing revenue through unique marketing programs
  • Implement and drive strategies to grow revenue from existing Affiliate partners by initiating new campaign ideas, incentives, and bonus offers
  • Aggressively recruit new Affiliate partners
  • Research and work with Affiliate partners on efficient methods of optimizing their revenue
  • Actively consult with Affiliate partners on an ongoing basis to help exceed their revenue objectives through recommendation and implementation of best practices around online marketing programs
  • Meet and exceed monthly revenue goals
  • Prepare sales reports to track, analyze, and forecast the revenue opportunities for Affiliate partners
  • Monitor affiliate activity and potential policy/program violations
  • Log partner activity into appropriate CRM tool
  • Analyze and resolve diverse, complex and technical issues via an in-depth knowledge of company's products, services, industry, and technical interfaces
  • As needed, coordinate activities and resources between cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, production, operations, finance, and senior management
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, products, and markets for consumer and performance based marketing and lead generation
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, training seminars, and workshops
  • Occasional travel to industry conferences
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 years Internet Advertising experience required. Specific experience focused on online affiliate marketing a major plus
  • Strong relationship/partnering skills
  • Demonstrated, effective communication and influencing/negotiation skills

Hydra is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Lead Developer to lead our software development efforts for a variety of in-house, enterprise-level marketing applications.

Job Duties
  • Lead and mentor a small team of programmers and software architects in the development of highly scalable, robust web applications
  • Work with software architects during the design phase to offer insight for proposed solutions
  • Utilize experience to determine best methods for implementation of a particular software design
  • Ensure defined development standards and best practices are consistently being utilized by developers on your team by managing peer code reviews and other techniques
  • Handle merging of code from various development branches using CVS/SVN
  • Participate in project management process and be accountable for on-time and on-budget delivery of software projects
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional developer experience within a team-oriented environment, including previous team leader experience and the ability to effectively motivate the team members
  • 3+ years of solid OO PHP5 experience utilizing a web application MVC framework architecture

Account Executive

This position is responsible for prospecting and closing new accounts with B2C companies to sell their products/services or generate online leads via Hydra Network, our CPA-based affiliate network. We are looking for someone with at least one year experience as an account executive or account manager with an ad network and a strong rolodex of advertiser contacts. The account executive will be responsible for prospecting and closing new clients as well as maintaining those accounts on a day-to-day basis. The ideal person will be very confident and able to negotiate on his or her terms. The commission portion of compensation is heavily based on negotiation skills. Successful account executives are earning well over six figures after 8 to 12 months of employment.

Job Duties
  • Develop, negotiate and close new accounts. Prospects are generated from cold calling and incoming leads
  • Track success of campaigns through Hydra Network and spearhead ways to improve client's results
  • Construct deals within selling guidelines (product offerings, pricing, etc.) established by Hydra management
  • Assist in the collection of past-due accounts
  • Requires approximately 10% travel for trade show events
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience working as an account executive/account manager with an Ad or Affiliate Network, required
  • Self motivator with proven negotiation skills and an ability to close Fortune 500 companies
  • Strong interactive media agency connections. Background in successful online advertising principles with experience negotiating CPA (cost-per-action), CPC (cost-per-click) and CPM (cost-per-impression)
  • Strong writing skills to negotiate contracts
  • High competency level in MS Office products including Excel and Power Point. Solid Excel spreadsheet capabilities
